Flydubai 1073 Update: Copilot Probe + AA Bumping Change

Flydubai flight FZ1073: the UAE Attorney-General has weighed in on the cockpit attack, American Airlines is telling gate agents (per an internal memo) to stop involuntary bumping, and several Dubai routes are still cut into 2027. Here's the update you need.

Cold open: the co-pilot asked for a few minutes to pray, then swung the cockpit crash axe — the captain's account. On Oct 3, the UAE's top prosecutor called it an attempted terrorist act (WAM). Motives and any links are still under investigation. American hasn't announced the bumping change publicly yet; the memo was first reported by View From The Wing.
